Description

Sandalwood is trees belongs to the genus Santalum. The woods of sandalwood are heavy, yellow, and fine-grained, and, unlike many other aromatic woods, they retain fragrance for decades. Sandalwoods are mid-size hemiparasitic trees, related to the botanical family as mistletoe. Sandalwood essential oil is a transparent pale yellow color liquid having a chemical composition of Santalol ( 92.1%) and Isobornyl cyclohexanol is a synthetic fragrance chemical produced as an alternative to the natural product. It is widely used in aromatherapy and soaps and fragrance products.

Blends Well With

Sandalwood essential oil perfectly blends with Jasmine, Ylang-ylang, Rosewood, Patchouli, Vetiver, and Rose.

Sandalwood is widely used in aromatherapy, and in cosmetic. Its anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties make it perfect product for a number of health concerns. It helps in lowering down the blood pressure, and stress. It’s extensively used for skin health.

Caution

Dilute before use, for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with the eyes must be avoided. Keep out of reach of children.
