Plant Part: Rosewood is now an endangered species, so this is a substitute blend made up of purely natural constituents to smell as much like the real Rosewood as possible.

Origin	Cultivated in Brazil and Peru. Various misleading articles have encouraged the use of Ho Wood instead of Rosewood for ‘environmentally- sound’ reasons. However, the species is being properly protected and managed with controlled harvesting and _ farmers” are encouraged to replace and expand their plantations. The species is not threatened and therefore it is not necessary to use Ho Wood oil instead of Rosewood oil. The two oils are also different therapeutically.
