Eucalyptus Oil is extracted by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) using CO2, the eucalyptus tree is mainly used as the source of wood. Eucalypts are found in various sizes and habits from shrubs to tall trees. Mostly eucalyptus is evergreen and its leaves are covered with oil glands. The oil contains many important compounds like aromadendrene, terpinen-4-ol, a-phellandrene, a-pinene, b-pinene, 1,8-cineole, limonene, epiglobulol, piperitone and globulol. It’s much useful in medicine to treat a variety of common diseases and conditions.
