Cis-3 Hexenyl Acetate is widely used in perfumery due to its fragrance. It’s a green leaf volatile that produces defense against herbivores.

APPLICATIONS

Used as a refreshing top note in floral, fruity, minty flavor and fragrance compound.

NATURAL OCCURRENCE

Found in jasmine, various fruits including apple, guava and passion fruit.
