The material comes from flowers of Gardenia jasminoides, Rubiaceae family, grown in India, worked up by solvent extraction (absolute). Benzyl acetate is the marker constituent, and largely explains how the material behaves in a blend. We hold it in sizes from samples to bulk containers, with paperwork issued per shipment. It is often specified alongside our natural attars (sandalwood oil based) and organic oils.
